Mould Design II

Fundamental concepts to be acquired from this course will entail the understanding of steel sizes, mechanisms, ejections systems and part fill methods. Students will study how they are incorporated into the design, the design requirements to maintain mould and mechanism integrity, and how they are drawn to communicate the concept to the tool builder. Using CAD, students will incorporate these mechanisms, into a mould design that will meet industrial standards.
