This course is designed for students at an advanced level. Topics include an enhanced knowledge of special tooling, design considerations for various types of metalcutting dies, presses, standard parts and engineering materials. Students will design stamping dies (Compound/Progressive) to both International and Canadian Industrial Standards. In addition emphasis is placed upon the development of teamwork and effective communication skills. Study will take place in simulated drafting room. (Cadkey/AutoCad)
