An intermediate design course exposes the student to methods of procedure in Jig and Fixture Design. Students will evaluate designs from the perspective of time and money saved, and trouble avoided. Projects involve the complete design and drafting of numerous jigs and fixtures and require the use of handbooks and catalogs.
