This course will introduce the students to parametric solid modeling software. This software is widely used in the mold industry due to improved visualization, component interference checking capability, ease of use and the ability to export model data for manufacturing operations. Students will study the basic commands and will reinforce their learning by modeling a plastic piece part and various mold components.
