In this design course, the student will use the latest version of CATIA to go through the basic stages of simple part design. Associative, constrained 2D sketches will be used to generate a solid model of the mechanical part. The finished solid will then be analyzed and projected into a drafting environment to be detailed and ready for the next stage of manufacturing.
