This course will introduce the students to open and closed loop control systems and their implementation. Block diagrams and transfer functions. Relay logic, industrial sensors, such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, encoders and resolvers. Also actuator elements, such as DC and AC, stepper motors, and simple servo systems.
