This course is designed to provide the learner with machining theory combined with practical experience in a machine shop. The learner will gain skills development opportunities through the use of metal working machines and hand tools. Exposure to benchwork, layout, drill presses, lathes, mills, grinders, bandsaws, and measurement, as well as safety in the workplace, are integral components of this course.
