This course is designed to introduce the student to technical drawing and blue-print reading. The student will prepare and dimension two-dimensional multi-view and isometric drawings of three-dimensional mechanical parts. The student will also demonstrate ability to read mechanical engineering drawings. Topics include:, conventions in drawing castings and sectional views of machine parts; isometric pictorial drawings; auxiliary views; and thread and fastener representations.
