The course will promote an in-depth knowledge of various cancers, their stages of progression, and recommended oncology surgeries. Various therapies including biological, chemotherapy, radiation, and their most common side effects are also covered. Students will study pre and post- treatment protocols, and the potential impact of harmful, toxic and irritating cosmetic ingredients. Students will also learn relevant treatment modifications in working with cancer patients. Reconstruction services such as micro pigmentation will also be covered.
