Students will learn the principles and practice techniques for the staining of routine tissue sections, connective tissue elements, microorganisms, pigments, minerals, carbohydrates and lipids. Theory and practice of methods involved in cryostat sectioning, cytological specimen handling, and immunohistochemistry are also covered and the review of microanatomy continues from MDL 407A.
