Students will ensure appropriate specimens are procured, transported and processed according to established protocols in the Microbiology Laboratory., Specimens will include bacterial, viral, fungal and parasite sources. Students will also learn to prepare, sterilize, store, and apply quality assurance principles to various types of microbial media.
