This course blends a combination of theoretical and practical studies of tree structure, cultural practices and environmental aspects. These include propagation, planting and transplanting, fertilization and pruning of trees. Tree evaluation and assessment will be emphasized. Study of these principles will take place in classroom and lab (field) settings.
