This course will provide instruction to students into the methods and techniques required to estimate landscape construction drawings. Proper quantity takeoff procedures including labour calculations will be applied. Specific mathematical equations required to perform proper quantity takeoffs will be discussed and applied. A thorough knowledge of the Canadian Master Specifications and Tender documents and procedures will be explored. Legal aspects of the industry will form the framework for preparing landscape construction tender documents.
