This course will allow students to further develop the skills required to successfully operate or manage in a greenhouse, nursery, garden Centre, or garden maintenance operation. All students will be allowed to grow, harvest, maintain and market specialized crops as well as increase their vocabulary of floriculture type plants. The use of computer aided environmental systems and micro controllers as well as common landscape construction and maintenance practices will be stressed. Study of these practices and safety related to each will take place in the classroom and lab (field) settings.
