Students will be introduced to basic computer operations used in today's horticulture and design office environment. Software packages include word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and digital CAD packages. This course will allow the student to understand and utilize the personal computer as a production tool to assist them in creating office and field reports, which includes spreadsheets, presentations and drawings. Industry leading Dynascape software will be utilized allowing students to draft two dimensional landscape garden plans. Basic rendering, editing, detailing, hard copy reproduction and Dynascape Colour will be introduced.
