This course will allow the student to study the cultural history of landscape design and architecture through the ages. Students will study the different styles of landscape architecture as designed and constructed by different cultures and their impact on today's designs. The course will also focus on today's successful landscape architects and designers and their specific project program and philosophy. Basic drafting skills and exercises will be incorporated into this course. Web Assisted Notes will be available through Blackboard. Students should be familar with viewing and printing pages over the internet.
