This introductory course allows the student to develop proper techniques and practical skills required to work in the Horticultural Industry. Practical experience in small equipment operation, grounds maintenance, nursery and greenhouse practices will be stressed. Study of these practices and the health and safety related to each will take place in the classroom and lab (field) settings.
