This course focuses on a variety of documents required in law to transfer an interest in real estate from one person or company to another. Students use legal specific software in timed writing situations to become efficient at locating and completing a variety of real estate documents from Offers to Purchase up to an including preparation of Deeds/Transfers, Mortgage/Charges and Tenancy Agreements. This course concludes with the preparation of all closing documents including correspondence, lawyer accounts and the use of mathematics to calculate Statements of Adjustment and applicable taxes.
