This course is an overview of civil law suits, from recognizing the initial legal basis for commencement of an action to examining court structure, procedure and law in the area of civil litigation. Emphasis is on the commencement of a civil action, application of the procedural Rules of Practice and the various steps in civil litigation up to and including trial.
