A continuation of JRN 145, this course presupposes a basic understanding of photographic techniques and concepts in order to concentrate on image quality, content and presentation. An introduction to the concepts, techniques and terminology of the digital image capture and manipulation will be the central focus of this course. Students will use photo editing software for image enhancement and other needs as they prepare their work for publication in both conventional and new media applications.
