This course will introduce the student to the fundamentals of the photographic process, especially as related to photojournalism and the creation of images for mass media. The course includes basic photographic terminology, some theoretical concepts and regular critiques. Students will be expected to use personal digital SLR cameras to produce images of publishable quality for college publications and similar.
