This course introduces students to the fundamentals of filmmaking including use of lighting, sound, framing, blocking, sequencing, conducting documentary interviews, location scouting and visual storytelling. Students will also learn composition styles including leading lines, rule of thirds, angle/perspective, symmetry, lighting, framing, photojournalism and portraiture (posed/candid). The course will also introduce photo editing software.
