Social Media Storytelling

This course introduces journalism students to the popular social media networks and the ways in which to create, adapt, aggregate and deliver news and information on social media networks. Students will learn how to create and maintain a professional presence on social media. Students will be introduced to common aggregation platforms and tools, techniques, and real-life case studies to enhance their reporting, build their personal brand, and drive traffic to their stories.
