The purpose of this course is to introduce students to culture and cultural diversity as it applies to the conduct of international business. Students will gain an understanding of the different components, concepts and dimensions of culture and how these cultural percepts influence the behaviour of individuals in decision making, negotiation and managing people in international environments. Students will apply their knowledge through a series of exercises, scenarios and case studies which introduce them to how to show respect, manage and communicate in different cross-cultural situations.
