Transportation is a critical link within the supply chain; it impacts both our economy and public policy. In this course, each 'Mode of Transport' will be explored on the basis of its' transportation profile, the technology it embraces, and its' importance within the global trade arena. Through case studies and in-class projects students will learn about fleet management, private transportation, costing, pricing, global transportation planning, and risk management.
