Specification And Code

Two major goals are achieved in this course:, an understanding of the Ontario Building Code, and Specification Writing. Building upon previous studies in Cost Estimating, with an emphasis on cost breakdown on the construction of interior space. Specification writing for materials and finishes which comply with construction industry standards is applied. The Ontario Building Code is researched in this course and applied within concurrent and subsequent case studies. Documentation such as quotation, tendering, quantity take-off and cost estimations are reported in document format.
