This course is designed to instruct the advanced level apprentice in the identification, uses and internal operation of pneumatic and hydraulic valves, actuators and power transmission methods. The student will examine the basic principles of Boyles, Charles and Pascals' Laws in their application to pneumatics and hydraulic systems. Finally the student will examine how to perform pertinent hydraulic calculations as they pertain to the operation and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic components.
