This course explains the market research discipline as it pertains to firms undertaking global business ventures. Students learn to identify, apply and analyze the appropriate research source information and metrics for comparing the risks, barriers and opportunities inherent in different geographic markets. Students conduct a thorough PESTEL analysis comparing two geographic markets and recommend a preferred market for further detailed study (which is undertaken in subsequent course work).
