This is an introductory course in Pharmacology. The student will learn commonly used medications and their actions and basic side effects. Specific practical knowledge of the role of local pharmacy facilities regarding public interaction and education, narcotic abuse, processing scripts from doctors and the unique relationship with doctors administrative personnel will be discussed.
