An introductory course in blueprint reading and drawing preparation for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems for buildings. Topics include linear and angular measurement, the use of architectural and engineering scales, standard symbols and abbreviations, how working drawings are created and classified, learn about sections, elevations, detailing and the use of working drawings in construction. The student will be required to interpret architectural, mechanical and electrical plans, drawings and details for estimating, co-ordination and installation applications., GAS TECHNICIAN III:, This course covers all or partial modules:, Module 06 - Technical manuals, specifications, schematics, drawings and graphs.
