This course provides the student with an inside view of the managerial and operational functions of one or a combination of the following types of hospitality industry settings: a sales, catering, convention, or hotel office. The student will explore typical daily work routines, learn about the interdepartmental coordination necessary, and work closely with not only the staff in these operations but also the supervisory personnel. Lab practices will be conducted at various industry partner sites in the community.
