This project based course will equip the hospitality student with event planning techniques that can be applied to a variety of program and college related events. Students explore the role of key players for events and learn to manage all the stages of successful events. Focus includes overcoming challenges, recognizing opportunities, the importance of documentation, presentation and teamwork skills, and keeping timelines.
