This course establishes a foundation of knowledge and skills required performing table service. The student will practice these various skills as part of a team at the Chez Talbot Restaurant and Talbot's Kiosk. This will include the correct and timely service of Food and Beverages; performing opening, closing, and side duties as part of a lunch setting. The student will apply order-taking techniques and operate the POS Micros 3700. In addition the student will apply customer service, time management, and teamwork skills while adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Health & Safety (HACCP) regulations.
