Sexuality And Abuse

This course explores the issues of abuse in its many forms and how abuse affects the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The topics of recognition, prevention and reporting of abuse as well as supporting individuals where abuse is alleged to have occurred will be discussed. The course will explore the concept and elements of safe environment for home and workplace.
