This module of training will help students prepare for salon management. In addition to this formal training, working in different types of salons will help to build valuable experience. Topics include business principles, bookkeeping, business law, insurance, salesmanship. Communication and psychology are crucial to the stylist / cosmetologist who aspires to an owner and or manager of a salon.
