The Hairstylist / Cosmetologist of today must have a thorough knowledge and skill in hairstyling in order to keep up with the ever-changing fashions. To be successful, the stylist must analyze the client's hair and facial features and apply this skill to give a personal touch to each coiffure (hairstyle) so that it is suitable to the individual. Theory, lab practice and shop experience will be provided to familiarize the student with the actual salon environment with emphasis on finishing techniques, advance styling and special effects.
