Because Haircutting HDR 103A and HDR 203 are pre-requisites for this course, the student will have the necessary background to relate this information in performing the advanced techniques and procedures associated with personalized or designer hair cuts. Emphasis will be placed in the fact that every head of hair is different and that the stylist should consider the individual characteristics of each person when choosing a style. Customer relations and communication are very important in meeting client's needs and satisfaction. The terminology, language and listening skills the stylist develops will be self-rewarding in understanding and handling customer traits and attitudes. An excellent course to build one's self-confidence and artistic ability in hair design. Work experience will be included with this module of training as well as the specialized area of beard and moustache trim and suitability to model.
