This module of study will include theory with practice and experience in selected salons to commence at approximately week twenty-five. Topics will include primary and secondary colours, depth of colour and tonal value, natural pigmentation of the hair and finished colour. The student will learn to perform techniques in the application of different types of hair colouring products to reach a desired result in the hair colouring procedure. Skills in hair tinting or colouring can be accomplished by continuous practice and study. This can become a profitable source of income in the beauty salon.
