This module of study will include classroom theory with practical experience in selected salons to commence at approximately week twenty-five. Because Chemical Permanent Waving HDR 105A is a pre-requisite for this course, students will have the necessary background to expand their skills and knowledge in working with the many chemicals and numerous techniques available. Designing a wave pattern to produce a specific style to meet the needs of the ever-changing fashion industry will challenge the skilled hairstylist. With scientific advancements in the chemicals used, improved equipment and techniques, chemical permanent waving can be a very specialized and profitable service.
