The daily operations of a salon are a critical part to the success of that business. Upon successful completion of this course the student will gain an understanding of, how to apply entrepreneurial skills to the operation and administration of a hair styling business. Effective communication between clients, and co-workers is discussed as well as reception duties, appointment management and financial transactions within a salon. In addition, effective retailing practices are studied.
