A healthy and safe work environment is essential to both the client and hairstylist. Through completion of this course, students acquire the knowledge and skill to perform sanitization procedures in accordance with related health regulations and legislation. Students will identify and implement methods of sanitation, disinfection, infection control and material disposal to maintain a safe workplace. Maintenance of electrical equipment in accordance to manufacturer's specifications is also studied.
