This course is the first of five courses that prepare the student to challenge the Gas Technician III exam as administered by Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). In this course, safety in the workplace, on the job and while traveling to and from the job are emphasized. A detailed look at all types of tools that are required by the technician is covered. The student is introduced to technical manuals, specifications, drawings, graphs and other manufacturer's information that pertain to the job. Finally a brief look at how the technician should behave while in a customer's home and the interactions between technician and client are covered.
