This course is the fifth of nine courses that prepare the student to challenge the Gas Technician II exam as administered by Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). In this course, the student will install, maintain, troubleshoot and service un-vented gas appliances such as gas ranges, gas dryers, barbecues, and gas lamps. The student will interpret wiring diagrams and schematics for the controls of these appliances and repair defective components. The student will be introduced to Natural Gas/Propane type refrigerators and will install, maintain, troubleshoot and service these units.
