This is an advanced creative workshop which offers students the opportunity to apply their two years of previous class training in Design, Illustration and Pre-press Production in a studio environment. Students will work on industry standard design projects related to their chosen field of study. Understanding strategic thinking and communications objectives are an integral part of this workshop. Graphic Designers do not create in a vacuum, they follow specific strategies and creative objectives. Incorporation of advertising print projects is an important addition to their learning. The professionally prepared designer of today is knowledgeable in multiple design disciplines. The course also focuses on the importance of continuing and building a portfolio for this final semester/year of study and graduation to the workplace.
