This course covers intermediate design disciplines in concept development for branding, corporate design, product packaging, logo design and selected media applications. Students will be presented with typical design challenges that occur in the workplace for which they will be required to find suitable solutions through research and the utilization of critical thinking skills., Students are also required to develop a rationale for each project, which will which assist in the concept development process. Students also learn the importance of developing ongoing knowledge in presenting work to the class and the instructor in preparation for the workplace.
