This course continues the study and application of materials and techniques to the production of print quality line and tone illustrations. Emphasis is on development of personal illustration skills and techniques to commercial standards. Students will explore the use of a variety of tools and media surfaces used in commercial illustration. Emphasis is placed on the exploration of advanced B/W renderings, the introduction to limited color illustration, the portrait and the exploration of rendering the human figure.
