The basic study of cell biology in preparation for anatomy and physiology courses in Health Science programs. Emphasis is placed on the cell structure and function energy transformation, cell division and genetic regulation. Included is a study of basic anatomy and physiology terminology such as anatomical positions, directions, etc. and the formation of biology terms as regards roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Introductory anatomy and physiology studies, including structure and function of components of endocrine, ciculatory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive and urinary stystems
