This course provides students with general knowledge about wine, beer, and spirits. The course focuses on the production of wine, beer and spirits in specific countries and regions and how regional factors effect production. Students learn how to properly examine and talk about beverages and their relationship to food. Students apply their knowledge through the analysis of wine and beverages and blind taste testing.
