This course is the first of a set of four specific courses leading to a Certificate in Freight Forwarding. Students are introduced to the terms, concepts and requirements involved in air, ocean, truck and rail transportation as well as to the world geography over which goods move. The use and application of Incoterms (2010) is also explored in detail to identify and manage the transfer of cost and risk to these goods as they are transported from seller to buyer.
