As a continuation from Garment Construction I, students will further their construction skills through a series of new clothing samples using industrial techniques in clothing production. Focusing on the bodice and dress, students will be exposed to and learn to sew a variety of bodice styles, sleeves, cuffs, collars and dress styles using industrial standards for producing these elements. Students will have the opportunity to create their designs in a variety of fabric types, introducing them to new materials. Industrial machines will continue to be introduced and used. By completion of this course, students will have learned how to complete pants, bodices & dresses.
